New Skoda Karoq Sportline
Skoda have announced another new variant for their Karoq SUV, the new Karoq Sportline with athletic styling cues and a more powerful engine.
Only recently Skoda announced a new variant of the Karoq, revealing the karoq Scout, with a more rugged appearance and off-road capabilities. Skoda have now announced another option, the Karoq Sportline which offers a more powerful engine with some sportier styling cues than the existing model. The Karoq Sportline will debut at this years Paris Motor Show and be available to lease soon after.
Styling changes are similar to those made to the Kodiaq Sportline. This includes a more athletic body kit with 18-inch alloy wheels (or optional 19-inch alloy wheels as pictured), a redesigned bumper, tinted rear windows and Sportline branding. The interior also benefits from several design improvements including sport seats, stainless steal pedals, a sports steering wheel and LED ambient lighting.
The highlight of the Karoq Sportline however is an exclusive powertrain option, a 2.0-litre TSI turbocharged petrol engine that outputs 187 horsepower. Alternative options include a 1.5-litre TSI petrol engine, or a 2.0-litre TDI diesel engine with a choice between 187 horsepower or 148 horsepower variants. Four-wheel drive comes as standard on the most powerful diesel engine, though is an option for all powertrains.
The Skoda Karoq Sportline will debut at the Paris Motor Show, so expect more information nearer the time. If you are looking to lease a Skoda, take a look at our offers.
