New Renault Zoe R110 Rumoured
Renault are expected to reveal a more powerful version of their best selling electric vehicle, the Renault Zoe, at the Geneva Motor Show.
The Renault Zoe is renown for being the best selling electric vehicle in Europe. In efforts to keep up with the increasingly more competitive electric vehicle market, Renault are expected to debut a more powerful version of the Zoe at the upcoming Geneva Motor Show this March. In an article from AutoCar, a source stated that the new model would be called the Zoe R110 and offer an improved electric motor.
Though there are few confirmed details at this point in time, it is expected that the R110 will be powered by an 80kW electric motor - a fair improvement from the 68kW motor featured in the current version of the Zoe. It is also expected that this new Zoe R110 would offer 16bhp more. There is no rumours or official comment in regards to range yet, though the current model is capable of a 250 mile range.
The new R110 will be available inthe current versions Dynamic Nav and Signature Nav trim levels. Standard specification is likely to feature 16-inch alloy wheels, automatic headlights and wipers, and a hands-free keycard as standard. List prices for the R110 are expected to have a slight increase.
