BMW unveiled what maybe the most stunning vehicle at the 2018 Geneva Motor Show, namely the BMW Concept M8 Gran Coupe.

The 2018 Geneva Motor Show offered countless future models and concept vehicles, with several designs that stand out. BMW however may have stole the show with the stunning BMW Concept M8 Gran Coupe. The M8 Gran Coupe concept will influence a production version for release next year and thankfully looks likely to retain the majority of this design.

The new concept features a daring front end design with plenty of character. Three large air intakes feature at the vehicles bumper, whilst a revised design for the BMW kidney grille features above. The fresh look grille is now slightly wider with a gold-coloured angled surround which now joins at the centre. The kidney grille is flanked by a sleek and sweeping headlight design with contrasting hexagonal LED graphics inside.

Taking a look at the profile of the vehicle, even more compelling design details are revealed.  The long bonnet blends seamlessly into a softly rounded roofline. Sharp indents feature behind the front wheels for an athletic look, that contrasts well with the elegantly contoured side panels. Frameless doors feature, whilst the rear doors are shaped efficiently to offer rear passengers ease of access.

The rear of the vehicle features an equally remarkable design, with a muscular design highlighted by a mild spoiler and reflectors that scalp deeply into the back of the vehicle. Further indications of the performance-oriented M8 version are apparent through the quad exhaust pipes. All of these bold features are contrasted by the incredibly slim tailight design.

The new concept joins the previously revealed two-door 8 Series Coupe Concept and upcoming 8 Series Cabriolet Concept. Production variants of all models are then expected to follow, with a range of petrol powertrains available. The range starts with a 3.0-litre six-cylinder engine all the way to a 6.6-litre V12 unit.
