2020 Ferrari SF90 Stradale
The new Stradale is Ferrari's first ever production hybrid vehicle, and we think it will not be the last.
The reference to the 90th anniversary of the foundation of Scuderia Ferrari shows the strong link that has always been between Ferrari’s track and road cars. The SF90 Stradale is also the first Ferrari sports car to be equipped with 4WD, which is important to allow the incredible power to be used by the hybrid powertrain to be fully exploited. The car’s name proves the true significance of all that has been achieved in terms of performance.
The interior of the Ferrari has a major innovation which is the steering wheel. It now has a touchpad and a load of buttons that will allow the driver to control virtually every part of the car using just there thumbs. The central instrument cluster is now all digital with the first automotive application of a 16” curved HD screen which can be fully set up, configured and controlled using the controls on the steering wheel.
The SF90 Stradale is the first ever Ferrari to be a Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle which sees the internal combustion engine work with three electric motors, where two of them are on there own and are located on the front axle, with the third motor being at the rear between the engine and the gearbox. The car has has massive power and can do 0-62mp/h in 2.5 sec and 0-124mp/h in just 6.7 seconds. The SF90 Stradale has a 90° V8 turbo engine which delivers 769hp, the highest power output of any 8-cylinder in Ferrari history.
