The Suzuki Swift makes a really good first car or round town runabout. Thanks to an innovative exterior design giving it the necessary street cred and its modest performance, it’s a perfect car for new drivers and funky shoppers alike.
To add to its appeal, Suzuki has given the Swift range a brand new refreshed look for the New Year and it’s now available with three new trim levels.
From January, the three new models, called SZ2, SZ3 & SZ4 will replace the old GL and GLZ trims, and will match the names of the company’s other ranges. The entry-level ZS2 comes with front, side and curtain airbags, electric front windows, CD/MP3 player with steering wheel controls, a three-spoke leather steering wheel, and 15″ steel wheels as standard. The ZS3 gets all this too but adds some front fog lights, electrically adjustable and heated wing mirrors, manual air-conditioning, while the ZS4 also has a keyless start, automatic air-conditioning and 15″ alloy wheels added on.
The new trims will also come with three engine choices; a 1.3-litre petrol and 1.3-litre DDiS diesel and the 1.5-litre petrol version will continue to be available with automatic transmission only.
Prices start at £9,190 for the freshened up versions of the Swift range.
