Porsche Panamera Tuned Up by German Modifiers

German modifiers Lumma Design and Techart have both revealed plans to give their treatment to the like-it or loathe-it styling of the Porsche Panamera, the luxury four door grand tourer.

From Lumma Design, pictures for the CLR 700GT have appeared on the net which show an aggressive body kit in keeping with the Porsche GT2 and GT3 racers, with exaggerated wheel arches, enormous 22-inch alloys, stiffer suspension, uprated brakes and an overall ride height reduction of 35mm.

Add a host of extra air intakes, scoops, bulges, fixed spoilers and diffusers, the Lumma Panamera definitely shows that it means business and is built for speed, even if not the most beautiful car on the block. As yet there aren’t any details on potential engine upgrades, although there is talk of a stonking 700bhp, or any indication of performance figures, but the reduced weight of a carbon fibre bonnet and rear wing should certainly help here.

TechArt have already shown their styling package off at the Frankfurt show, adding new spoilers, air intakes, sills and diffuser, plus a new stainless steel exhaust system and choice of new 20 or 21-inch alloys. A new LED-based lights system can also be provided all round the car, and a two-tone leather upgrade and new steering wheel is available for the interior.

Prices for both packages are still unavailable, but if you aren’t convinced by the standard Panamera’s styling, why not take a look at giving it some new clothes?
