Porsche 911 – Chocolate Heaven

With the festive season fast approaching, what better way to get into the spirit of things than taking a luxury sports car and completely smothering it in delicious creamy chocolate?  Well, that’s what a Dutch Porsche dealer decided to do with a Carrera S.

Its chocolate heaven for any sports car and chocolate fan – a gorgeous car covered in loads of choccie.  But the luxury car enthusiast, who also has a weakness for chocolate was commissioned by Porsche to cover the 911 Carrera S to celebrate Sinterklaas – St Nicholas’ day in Holland.

If the thought of having to clean off all of that chocolate from the car horrified you, then don’t worry.  First, the car was fully wrapped in cling-film, and then dressed with 175kg of tasty milk chocolate, which works out at about 1,100 Dairy Milks!!  There were also a few pounds of Irish white chocolate to add features for the lights and trim.

The car will be displayed in the showroom until Christmas.  But this is only if the temperature in the room is maintained and kept under 27 degrees.

Although the final appearance may not look as appealing as we would have expected for a chocolate covered car, the idea is very unique and could be an inspiration for future Valentines Day gifts.  It could just be enough to satisfy any petrol head’s sweet tooth cravings.
