Peugeot 308 Gets A New Look

Peugeot’s popular 308 is getting a fresh new look which will apply to the hatchback, coupe, convertible and SW medium estate models.

Since the Peugeot 308 was launched in September 2007, it has sold over 900,000 models worldwide with 84,000 being sold here in the UK which makes it Peugeot’s second most popular model.

Adding to the new look are the latest LED headlamps and running lights giving the car a more modern look along with an economical stop/start engine on all bodystyles.

The new hatchback will only be available as a five-door model making it very family friendly and there will be six trim levels available: Access, Active, Allure, GT, SR and Oxygo.

The new Oxygo is an eco model which will arrive in July and will have CO2 emissions of just 98g/km.  The SR model will come with satellite navigation and hands-free Bluetooth phone systems as standard.  All of the models will come with air conditioning as standard along with central locking and stability controls.  The hatchback and SW models also come with a panoramic sunroof.

The new models will go on sale in May with prices starting from £15,245 for the hatchback model.  Peugeot are hoping the new 308 will compete with the likes of the Ford Focus and VW Golf.
