German tuning firm, and Corvette specialist, Loma Performance have upgraded the Corvette C6 and created the C6 Blackforce One.
The Blackforce One pumps out a massive 783bhp through a twin-turbo V8, along with a sports exhaust system and rebuilt gearbox all pushing the car from 0-62mph in just 3.4 seconds and an incredible top speed of 205mph. Carbon ceramic brakes have been added to ensure stopping power matches the brutal acceleration and speed.
Loma obviously have friends in the carbon fibre industry, as the material is used all over the body of the car, particularly for the aggressive extended wheel arches housing 20″ OZ racing alloys (which widen the car to 2 metres!), side skirts, front splitter and rear diffuser. Carbon fibre is even in the transmission, with carbon fibre clutch and driveshafts used to reduce weight without compromising strength. Exterior paint colours available include Stealth matt black, Eurofighter matt grey and White Storm matt white, and you get the feeling this isn’t intended to be a cutesy car!
The interior gets a makeover too, with Alcantara trim on the wheel and doors mated with a vast array of leather options for the seat upholstery.
The exclusivity of the car is kept by limited production to just 25 individually numbered units, but this also pushes up the price to £173,000.
