Lease a Ssangyong Rexton II from £547.48 per month plus VAT.
Ssangyong have a reputation for building 4x4s that are tough, rough and a really good deal when it comes to economy. To keep their status strong, Ssangyong have now re-launched the Rexton, now the Rexton II, making it appeal to a far wider cross-section of family 4×4 buyers.
The Rexton II has a strong, powerful stance making it look like it owns the roads, and this is complimented by the body coloured bumpers, roof rails, privacy glass, side steps, and some massive 18″ alloy wheels.
The Rexton II does not disappoint when it comes to a luxury interior either. The black leather seats are not only comfortable, but are good to look at too, complemented by the leather steering wheel and gear knob. Driver and passengers are made to feel snug with the electrically adjustable and heated front seats with lumbar support and head rests.
There is also an LED black face instrument cluster with a metallic grain facia, which creates an upmarket feel putting everything to hand, including the automatic climate controlled air conditioning, and a selection of storage compartments and cup holders. The 5-door Rexton II provides a huge luggage space, and has a fully flexible interior with 60/40 split folding rear seats.
The Ssangyong Rexton II 270 SPR’s diesel engine can produce 186bhp and 402Nm of torque, making the 0-62mph time in 11.6 seconds. Mating this to a 5-gear semi-automatic gearbox, the Rexton II has a combined fuel economy of 30.7mpg, with CO2 emissions of 233g/km. Other fuel economy figures are 25mpg for urban and 35.3mpg for extra urban.
Safety measures are 3x three point seatbelts, driver and passenger airbags, front side airbags, and a fasten seatbelt reminder. It also has remote keyless entry, speed sensing door locks, and a Thatcham category 1 alarm and immobiliser as the security measures.
