Nissan have followed up the Qashqai 4×4/ hatch combination with the smaller, cheaper and very sporty Juke which offers fun handling at great value.

The Juke 1.6 Acenta 117bhp gives you a funky looking car with a decent engine capable of reaching 0-62mph in 11 seconds and a top speed of 111mph. The sporty 4×4/supermini has an average combined fuel economy of 44.8mpg and CO2 emissions of 147g/km.

The steering wheel and seat adjustment are very flexible and combined with the high seating a comfortable driving position can be achieved in seconds. It provides a firm ride with fun handling and is pleasant to travel in. There is plenty of room for front passengers but the sloping roof line can make passengers in the rear a little cramped. With the rear seats up the Juke provides more boot space than the Mini but less than a Peugeot 207, you can make a larger flat loading area by folding the seats down and there is additional space under the bootfloor. The well equipped interior is funky and takes its inspiration from motorbikes. The painted centre console resembles a motorcycle fuel tank and the dashboard is large with clearly labelled controls.
