After 3 long years of waiting, Quebec-based motor manufacturer HTT have launched the Plethore, which definitely wants to rub shoulders with Bugattis, Ferraris and Lamborghinis.
The original HHT plan was to launch a stonking 1300bhp version but this hasn’t panned out for them yet and they have decided to use the “slow” Chevvy 6.2-litre V8 engine pumping out a “meagre” 750bhp. Thanks to a lightweight carbon fibre body, the result is a staggering power to weight ratio of 643bhp-per-tonne and definitely puts it in Veyron’s playground! The car is said to be capable of 0-62mph in under 3 seconds but there’s no word on top speed yet – final figures are expected in the coming months.

Similarities to other breeds of sport car are evident, with upward-opening doors, and a design mix of Ferrari F430, Koenigsegg, and the recently announced McLaren MP4-, and further McLaren inspiration with a driver and two passengers seating configuration as found in the legendary F1. Other road users may not appreciate you driving through the narrow streets of quaint little Oxfordshire villages, given that the Plethore is around 7’4″ (2.2m) wide!
The HTT Plethore costs £220,000, similar to the Lamborghini Murcielago and a little more than its Ferrari rivals, and is available to order now for delivery next year.
