Shortly after the debut of its E-1 electric sports car at Frankfurt, E-Wolf has now released images and details of their next model, the radically named E-2.
Unlike the open top E-1, the E-2 will feature a well-defined shaped which shows that the inspiration for the design of this model clearly comes from the shape and styling from any number of Italian supercars, mainly the Lamborghini and Ferrari.

The muscle power behind this all electric supercar will be one 134-hp electric motor per wheel for a total of 536bhp and an impressive 738lb-ft of torque (1000 Nm). The E-2 is expected to reach 60mph in well under 4 seconds and onto a top speed of 155mph. Considering the chassis only weighs just over 900kg, this is pretty exciting.
Powering this aggressive looking supercar is a lithium ion battery pack composed of 84 flat cells from CERIO. With no details having been officially released as yet on the pack’s capacity, E-Wolf suggest that range could be as high as 187 miles (300 kilometres) per a charge of just 30 minutes. Obviously, it would take a powerful and specialised charger to achieve that result.
Unlike the real metal version of the E-1, which is due to go on sale early 2010, the E-2 is due sometime in 2011 and only exists as computer-generated images, so hopefully the production version will stay true to the concept lines.
