
Audi’s hotly anticipated A1 might not be available to order until May, but Audi has already revealed the prices on its website.
There will be a choice of three engines, one diesel and two petrol and will include 86bhp 1.2 and 122bhp 1.4 litre TSFI petrol engines and a 105bhp 1.6 litre TDI diesel . A seven speed twin-clutch S-tronic transmission will be available but only on the 1.4 and at an additional cost of £1,420.00.
Initially there will be three trim levels available with the basic SE costing £13,145 in 1.2 petrol and £14,180 in 1.6 diesel. Start/stop and regenerative braking technology will be standard on all models in the range. The Sports trim boasts 16-inch alloys, sports suspension, bluetooth phone operation, front fog lights, front sports seats, aluminium trim and a multi-function steering wheel. Prices start from £14,945 for the 1.2 and rise to £15,345 for the 1.4 and £15,980 for the 1.6.
The top of the range S Line trim adds 17-inch ’5 twin spoke’ allows, S Line sports suspension, half leather seats and S Line badging to the Sport package. Sports bumpers and rear diffuser, side skirts and a glossy black grille make the S Line different from all the other models. The S Line trim package starts at £16,460 for the 1.2 and rises to £16,860 for the 1.4 and £17,495 for the 1.6 and with S-tronic transmission it will make the 1.4 S Line the most expensive of all the models at £18,280.
