It is hard to believe, but the Ferrari Enzo has been given a bit of a makeover to make one of the highest performance sports car into something that is simply bonkers. Obviously the already powerful 650bhp Ferrari Enzo just isn’t thrilling enough to drive for some, so why not take it up to 850bhp?

The Italian car manufacturer is well known for their classy styling features and beautiful looking cars which provide both speed and comfort, but tuner Ed Competition thought that it was missing something, so decided to up the bhp and introduce the car as the Edo Competition Ferrari Enzo XX Evolution. The founder of Edo Competition, Edo Karabegovic, took inspiration from the cars that can only be driven on the Ferrari Fiorano test track, the exclusive and rare line of FXX supercars. He decided that he liked this tech-fest supercar so much that the Enzo should get the same treatment.

Performance wise, the 6-litre V12 has been increased to a massive 6.3-litre V12, with the addition of new camshafts, titanium valve springs and connecting rods, modified cylinder heads, a high performance exhaust system and ‘newly-developed’ solid tappets, which let the engine rev to 9,600rpm. This of course results in an astounding 850bhp and 575lb/ft of pulling power, the fastest Ferrari ever!
Even more amazing, is that the Edo-tuned Enzo is able to produce 850bhp without the exhaust mufflers. And this supercar can make the 0-62mph time in only 3.2 seconds and 186mph is achieved in just 19 seconds from standstill, onto a top speed of 242mph.
There have also been a couple of exterior modifications to the car, including a new retractable rear wing, LED rear lights and a rear skirt with ‘winglets’.
There is no word as yet on the cost of this Italian Stallion of a car, but who really cares how much it costs when you’re hurtling round the race track?!
